Take a photograph
It will be the last
I don't have a past
I just have a chance
Not a family or honest plea remains
It will be the last
I don't have a past
I just have a chance
Not a family or honest plea remains
Memories are said to be a way of holding on to the things you love, the things you are, and the things you never want to lose. Sometimes, however, it is better to kill those thoughts, the emotions and bonds that keep you in the past. A lust to move forward and tie off a certain point in your life blinds you. Is it not hard to do so when there are scents of tears following your dark path? A thousand corpses rest on your shoulders.. a thousand hearts remain in the shadows. Is it not nice to have roses in December? It was such a lie.. a beautiful lie of the young Uchiha to ally with the Akatsuki. After arriving just at the border of the Fire Country, Sasuke made his move with Team Hawk following in suit. They betrayed the Akatsuki.
Rain, rain go away
Come again another day
All the world is waiting for the sun
Is it you I want
Or just the notion of
a heart to wrap around
So I can find my way around
Come again another day
All the world is waiting for the sun
Is it you I want
Or just the notion of
a heart to wrap around
So I can find my way around
[/blockquote][/blockquote]When the sun vanished from the world to hide from the world's sins, two young men allied once again to repent and rid their home of it's tormentors. They become heroes, but for every right there must be a wrong. During the battle between Konoha and the Akatsuki, many other villages came to help. At first, only Uzumaki Naruto and Uchiha Sasuke stood proudly on the gallant hilltop staring Pein and the remaining Akatsuki in the eyes. Soon, following suit, Suigetsu and Juugo walked up behind them. Like moths to the flame, more and more shinobi arrived. First it was most of the Konoha 12, then more of Konoha. Then, surprisingly, other shinobi from neighboring villages came to help out. No words were spoken, but a smile passed everyone's lips. Indeed this war was going to be difficult. There was going to be blood. Knowing this, Uzumaki and Uchiha silently ordered most of the shinobi to stay back; this was their fight, they needed it. They obeyed, but their presence made Sasuke find home in the fact that he was surely not alone. Naruto could not rid his trademarked grin from his face knowing that the other shinobi were willing to risk their lives to fight along side. The fight was long. Some watched in horror at the bloodshed and cruelty. Others watched the teamwork and grace that the two heroes fought with. It was eventually won.. at the cost of the young Uchiha's life. The final mark of Pein before he died, he was going to take as many as he could with him. Sasuke used his completed Sharingan and escaped with him. The jutsu obliterated them both. Tears fell with the rain at the lost. The Uchiha traitor, the Uchiha hero was killed in action. So they thought. Naruto attacked the ground with grief with his bloodied fists over and over again violently. You killed someone who was like my grandfather.. then Granny Tsunade, and now my brother.. By now the tears poured from his eyes. Even when he fell against the war-dirtied ground unconscious, the rain kept coming.
Safe to say from here
You are getting closer now
We are never sad cause we are not allowed to be
To lie here under you
Is all that I could ever do
You are getting closer now
We are never sad cause we are not allowed to be
To lie here under you
Is all that I could ever do
Alone a certain kunoichi sat not too far from the destruction. It was a small old cabin isolated in the woods. One floor and only acquainted with the necessities. It was used when Sasuke met up with Team Hawk.. and where the Konoha Team found them. Beside the bed, the last place she saw the Uchiha, she sat hugging her legs close to her burying her face in her thighs. He told her to stay here. Out of the rain and away from the battles. Helplessly, she obeyed. How useless she was were the only thoughts running through her mind. Suddenly tears ran down her cheeks right before she heard the roar of thunder. Lifting her head, glazed jade eyes looked out the window and saw the downpour. She began to weep.To lie here under you was all... that I could ever do. A bad omen, no less. Something had happened, she could feel it in her chest. But when the door opened to reveal Hatake Kakashi carrying an unconscious Naruto, the tears stopped. She was relieved, but Sasuke? She wiped away the tears as Kakashi laid him down on a pallet on the floor. Her hands grew a green aura as she began to heal him. Her eyes trailed cautiously to Kakashi, and like true shinobi comrades, he knew what she wanted to know. Regretfully, he could only shake his head sadly. She choked back her sobs as she tried to finish healing the Uzumaki. Her attempts in vain, when they spilled and rolled off her cheeks. As they spilled on the bloodied face of Naruto, azure eyes opened slightly. Soon after, his tears joined hers.
Rain, rain go away
Come again another day
All the world is waiting for the sun...
Come again another day
All the world is waiting for the sun...
Now, not two years later yet, the shinobi world seems to be at peace. Within each village its inhabitants have kept their eyes on their village and making it better; whether it be rebuilding or expanding. The village of Otogakure is being worked on by it's former villagers and new ones looking for a change. Tearing away Orochimaru's rules and past regulations, majority-picked village leaders hope to get this village recognized by the others. The village of Konoha is back on its feet after the death of Tsunade and many others. Beyond her grave she has picked Naruto as her successor. In her note she declared that no one else was better suited for the job. Without arguing and objections, he was quickly placed in her seat. And not only has the village gained a Hokage that "no one else was better suited for," the child of an Uchiha prodigy was born by a medical nin prodigy herself. Uchiha Kazuki is going on age one. In the Land of Waves, a young boy of the age of sixteen, announced his idea on having a ninja academy built in their village. Some liked the idea on future protection, some only believed that violence is not what they needed to it. Inari works very hard to try to convince them. For now, however, they think that the only protection they need is from a young, mysterious man who takes care of any thieves and rouge shinobi who try to invade their village wrongfully. Oddly enough, something about him makes the villagers trust him, but fear at the same time. Perhaps it's the protection that draws them to him and the solitude that strikes fear within them. For he rarely shows his face behind his dark cloak and speaks few words to no one. Inari, however, has been watching him. His aims to find his identity. Could this be the Uchiha.. lost and with a blurry past?
Whether the shinobi world will have a happy ending, is up to you.
Whether new villains will be brought up to try to achieve what the Akatsuki failed to do is up to you.
Nevertheless, never say goodbye.
