There is a world hidden from sight, where the mundane is truly extraordinary, the wonderful nothing short of miraculous, and the frightening unlike any nightmare conceived by man. Our world is infested with the souls of those who have yet to move on to the afterlife, and there are those that walk among us who are not what they seem; ESP-users, or Espers, wield an increased psychic ability comparable to super-human; Ghasts, the souls of the vengeful, the sinful, and the truly demented, inhabit the corpses of the freshly dead so that they may once again hunt for prey.
The Chosen One of legend, foretold to save the world from darkness has betrayed his faith, and now works with the evil to establish a new world order, starting with Shadowglen.
