|Desc.| The user assumes the appearance of another person, animal, or object. This is one of the basic jutsu taught at the Konoha Ninja Academy. Fundamentally, all ninja know this jutsu.

|Desc.| A high-speed movement technique. It is described as 'appearing with the wind and disappearing like the wind.' A very basic jutsu, it appears that most shinobi above Genin-rank know it.

|Desc.| This jutsu lets the user quickly switch places with another nearby object, such as a plant (normally a section of a log), an animal, or even another person within reach, leaving the opponent open to a counter-attack.

|Name| Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing)
|Desc.| Kinobori no Waza, the art of tree climbing serves a dual purpose. Taking part in Kinobori Shugyou (Tree Climbing Training) helps a ninja learn how to focus their chakra, and it also teaches them how to run up trees and walk up walls. The training helps the ninja learn how to focus just the right amount of chakra to a particular part of their body. The amount needed to climb is small but it must be precise. The feet are said to be the hardest location to learn how to master chakra focusing. So by gaining the art of this skill, the ninja will be able to have any jutsu available to him (theoretically) because she can focus chakra as needed. Next the chakra released must be properly controlled.

|Desc.| A variation on the Kinobori no Waza (Act of Tree Climbing), the art of water surface walking allows a ninja to walk on water as if it was a solid surface. Focusing an even amount of charka out of the soles of their feet, they can balance themselves on the very surface of the water.

|Desc.|Kanashibari no Jutsu is an advanced Ninjutsu technique used to temporarily bind an individual or animal. With the person frozen in place, the ninja can either take the opportunity to attack or to retreat.

|Name|Akumu ni Unasareru (Have a Nightmare)
|Desc.|After running through her handsigns, Temari makes the opponents see the illusion of themselves being trapped in a vast desert. From there, she can make them feel like they are sinking into the sand, or she can generate monsters made of sand to fight them. Note that all actions only occur in the enemy's mind, and as such, no harm other than pain they feel can come to the opponent. That said, she can cause them enough pain to faint if she so wished it and they didn't free themselves.

|Desc.| Using her fan, Temari can create concentrated gusts of wind mixed with chakra, creating a windstorm that slices through objects in a targeted area. Temari can control the windstorm with chakra, allowing her to catch her opponents in slicing tornadoes.

|Name| Fûsajin no Jutsu (Dust Wind Technique)
|Desc.| Using a giant fan, this jutsu will blow a strong wind current which will cover the surrounding area in dust. After the dust settles, the affected area will become extremely slippery from all the loose dust.

|Desc.|Kazekaeshi is a Ninjutsu technique used by nutsenshounin member Kujaku. This technique is used to counter a Wind attack launched against Kujaku. Using her swords' ability to amplify her chakra and transform Wind, Kujaku will split the incoming Wind attack and take control of the whirling vortex. She can then launch it back at the ninja who originally created it. Temari worked hard to take what she had observed in the attack and worked to make it work with her fan.

|Desc.|Kazekiri is a Ninjutsu technique used by nutsenshounin member Kujaku. This technique is used to divide and neutralize a Wind attack launched against Kujaku. Using her swords' ability to amplify her chakra and transform Wind, Kujaku will split the incoming Wind attack and make it harmless. Temari learnt this one the same way.

|Name|Medical Arts: Healing Jutsu
|Desc| This is just the normal, middle-of-the-road healing jutsu. Any young medical ninja can pull it off. With a handsign, a blue chakra-like substance appears in their hand. From there, the user places it on any normal wound (such as a scrape, small burn, or a cut) and it should stop the bleeding and pain. After a while, the mark disappears.

|Desc.| This jutsu is a more powerful version of the Cutting Whirlwind Technique.

|Name| Kuchiyose no Jutsu (Summoning Technique)(Kamatari)
|Desc.| The basic form of all summoning techniques, this jutsu uses a contract, hand seals, and the user's blood to summon an animal from another dimension. As an alternative to the normal hand seals, the same contract that appears on the ground during the summoning can be drawn by hand and activated, producing the same result. The type of animal summoned is determined by the contract. The blood is used as a signature to make the contract, which can be written on a scroll or tattoo, valid. Once summoned, the animal can perform a task or help the user in battle. Temari has signed a contract with a sickle weasel (Kamatari). She will wipe blood onto her fan and use the fan as a summoning tool.

|Details| Unlike most summoning techniques, this jutsu uses Temari's fan as a medium instead of her hand. Temari uses it to summon Kamatari, a scythe-carrying weasel. Once summoned, Kamatari is capable of decimating an entire forest with very powerful slicing winds.

Highly skilled medical-Nins such as Tsunade can use their techniques to perform surgeries that otherwise would not be possible.

|Desc|This jutsu is a more advanced version of the healing jutsu. With a different handsign, another chakra-like substance appears on the palm. However, this time it's stronger, and can wrap around a wound like a blanket, almost. Wounds as bad as partially -- but not fully -- severed limbs, enormous amounts of bleeding, et cetera can be healed. This jutsu requires a lot of time and a lot of Chakra.

|Desc|Kaze no Yaiba is a Ninjutsu technique utilized by the Sand ninja Baki. After forming the needed hand seal, a cutting whirlwind will envelop his opponent and cut them to pieces. Unlike a real sword which can face resistance, the wind blade will be able to slice with little difficulty. Temari is still working on mastering this jutsu.

Appearance

She has blond hair that is normally up in four ponytails. Her eyes are a dark teal much like her mothers. Even with living in the desert she is able to keep her skin rather light. Her frame is one of a woman's stretched across it are muscles that have formed from rigorous training. There are scars from when she has been injured. Her hands are feminine but strong. She has wielded the iron fan for most of her life and to her it is like part of her own body. Her hands also have scars from when the fan's iron sides sliced into her flesh. Now her hands are healed and are used to the fan. She has the ability to move rather quickly. She can moved at the average ninja speed with an iron fan strapped to her back. When she first started training, at a surprisingly young age, she was given a peice of iron that was proportionate to her size and weight, it weighed proportionate to the weight of the actual war fan when she grew up.

Temari is normaly clothed in a black Yukata a red obi around her waist. The sleeves of the garment go down to her elbows and to about her mid calf. On her hands are fingerless gloves, only leaving her forearms in the open sun. Her headband is placed across her forehead. Shinobi sandals are on her feet slightly altered. They are black with open toes as well as an open part over the upper side of her feet and they go up to right below her ankles. On her left calf there is a section of black fishnet that goes up to below her knee. On her back she has a red fan holster for her fan. It is a cloth band that she is able to slid the fan into to keep it on her back. With this holster she is able to access the weapon more quickly, it also makes carrying the heavy fan a lot easier.

When she is working within the village without shinobi duties she is clad in mostly black. The skirt goes down to about four inches above her knees, the shirt is just black and long-sleeved. Under those clothing she has one kunai and chain mail.

--Description--
The fan stands 4' 11" feet tall and is made out of flame retardant material. The fan itself is made of a heavy metal frame so it can conduct wind jutsu, and be used in battle without being destroyed. And along the edge of the fan material, were placed metal blades. Blades are also placed along the iron part of the weapon. The fan's iron planks are also armed on the end with small blades. If she needs to she will line it with poison. The blades are retractable, she uses chakra to make them move in or out.

Personality
Temari is a rather interesting girl, she has grown up in a harsh family, her life has changed her view on what is going on. When she was younger she stayed mostly around her brother, Kankuro. This was partially because their father, the fourth Kazekage, had sent her youngest brother off to live with their uncle, Yashamaru. From when Temari was born to the age of three she seemed to be a normal fun loving child. To be honest she didn't have many worries plaguing her mind, then on May 15th her brown haired brother was born. She looked much like her mother, her brother like their father, this didn't bother her, after all she was only about two years old. At a young age she suffered a loss, her mother died in the birth of her youngest red head brother. She didn't understand much of why, but she seemed saddened. Her mind was hardened once she noticed what could happened to somebody. In her young age she put simple facts together, her father 'loved' her mother, he truly loved her, but as the two other children came into being the relationship seemed to get worse. In her mind, if you let yourself be tricked into loving or caring it was just as easy to be broken. From the age of nine, when Gaara killed their uncle, she had the personality she has now.

Now the blond haired woman seems to have two personalities, one of them is what she lets people see. The mind of a true kunoichi. She had been trained ruthlessly since she can remember, she then noticed the reason why. Her father still wanted his youngest son dead, and Temari was close to Gaara. Making it an easy kill. In realizing this she found out how heartless someone could be. The Fourth Kazekage may have been her father, but she was simply one of his pawns, like Kankuro. She was another branch of his power. She learnt that one could become heartless.

As Temari grew older she became more ruthless, she loved fighting, and she was rather good at it. She is eager, almost too eager, for a fight, to shed her opponent's blood, to show her power. At times some might call her a bit psychotic. [though she hates war] She is a truly devastating opponent who knows exactly how to make it count. She's not was afraid of her brother as Kankuro was, and is a bit closer to him than the puppet-nin. She's crude, and a little blunt, but she is, in general, rather kind.

She has been called, by Shikamaru, even more frightening than his own mother, with the strength that she wields her tessen. She's intelligent, analytical, and tactical, similar to Shikamaru, but she's got a temper that is something to be feared. As she has gotten older she has matured. She has become less headstrong. Less to the point that she no longer automatically thinks she is better than her opponent. She thinks before she acts knowing full well what the consequences would be if she were to be caught off guard, the punishment was drilled into her from the age she started training.

History
---> Early Youth
When Temari was a young girl she lived in a rather normal family. Well that is what she thought, she was the first born daughter of the Fourth Kazekage. She was expected to act rather proper. Her mother, Karura, spent a lot of time with her. Her mother tried to talk to her about more serious things. Things like what might happened in the future. But Temari never wanted to talk about stuff like that, she didn't want to think of her mother dying leaving her with just her father. She had not once referred to her father as 'father', not to his face. When addressing him she was to call him "Lord Kazekage" or "Kazekage-Sama". 'Father' was disrespectful.

When she was two her brother was born. His name was Kankuro and he became her new playmate. Kankuro had an odd liking of puppets, but she would put up with it. She would clap and urge him on when he wanted to show her what he had learnt how to do with the little wooden snake puppet he owned. Their life was rather normal, that is minus their fathers rare attendance.
When Temari was three years old her second brother was born. In his birth her mother died. This hurt Temari, she now knew why her mother kept trying to talk to her, but it was too late. She mourned her mothers death. But she didn't cry, that was one thing she learnt. Never cry. Kankuro hadn't yet learnt that. Temari spend most of the time after the funeral comforting the young Kankuro. The brown haired child didn't understand what was going on, and Temari attempted to make it right. All this time she wondered about her red headed brother who had been sent to live with their uncle. Kankuro and Temari had become inseparable since the death of their mother.


---> Academy Life
Temari was born on August 13, a year later Kankuro was, and two years later Gaara came. With his birth his mother's life was taken. She never hated Gaara for this, but she hated her father. He was the one who had sacrificed his wife for an experiment. After her death she had become more apart from the Kazekage family. She trained excessively, improved her skills, and she developed what some would call a bloodlust. She was eager to show her power to her opponents. Her sensei, Baki, was pushing her to her limits from her tender young age. This was on orders of their father. She never truly learned what some might call the requirements of a kunoichi.

When Temari was about four years old, just after her birthday, she was enrolled in the academy. Suna didn't have much of an academy, it was all drills. She was assigned a sensei, Baki, and he trained her, the man pushed her to her limits. Temari was put under incredible strain. Baki had been hired by her father, the man was almost like a father to her. She could honestly say she had been able to see and turn to Baki more then her true father. Almost a year or so after she was put under Baki's training Kankuro was also put under his care. Though Temari and Kankuro seemed to separate some as Temari had to train with a fan, and Kankuro was sent to the Puppet Corps. to learn puppeteering.

The blond girl was trained as a normal Shinobi, but then when she was about six years old she started to be taught how to be a kunoichi. She was taught boring things, boring in her mind, she was taught how to be a house wife. She leant how to cook. She memorized complicated recipes, she also was taught what was safe to eat, and how to eat it. This knowledge for surviving as a Shinobi, or being a house wife. There were many possibilities. She was taught how to arrange flowers, something she found pointless considering she lived in the desert. She could find a grand total of one flower per cactus. Cactuses were rare. She had a tendency to space out during her training as a kunoichi.

---> Genin Years
Temari became a Genin when she was about ten or eleven years old. She isn't sure if this was because her father was the Kazekage and she was his pawn. Or because she has skills. Temari constantly honed her skills, she worked on her war fan improving it. She learnt how it was build, she enhanced it by adding blades to the fan making it more dangerous. She was sent on a few missions with a couple other nin. This was simply because the Kazekage was waiting for Kankuro to become a Genin, as well as Gaara. Temari found the missions pointless considering they were in the middle of the desert and no one else seemed to go about business like she did.

When she was about 13 years old she was taught a second part of kunoichi information. She leanrt that, no matter how horrible it was, she was a woman. As a kunoichi she was a tool. She was taught that she would have to be able to use her body as a trap. She would have to go too far at times. She learnt that she had to be able to engage in certain activities without loosing her train of thought. This disturbed Temari. She may have been tough, but the thought of having intercourse for the simple reason of getting a job done didn't appeal to her. One of the worse parts of this was her father didn't single her out. Her father didn't care, but she had known that for a while.

Soon after that her brother, Kankuro, became a Genin. She and him became sparing partners. The two siblings had watched their brother train. In a way. Train, become homicidal. It was all the same. Temari and Kankuro never spared with him because he was a great danger.

When she was 15, Kankuro 14 and Gaara 12, The fourth Kazekage summoned her and her brothers. They were now known as Team Baki, and they were informed of a mission they were going to be sent on. The three were informed that they were being sent on a A rank mission. Her and her three siblings were going to the Chunnin exams and they were to infiltrate Konohagakure and help with an invasion. The three of them were informed that Gaara was going to be set loose, well Shukaku was going to be. This scared Temari, but it was a mission. She had no choice in the matter. Temari expressed a minimal dislike, though her hatred of war pulsed inside her.

After the invasion of Konohagakure Temari and her siblings retreated and Temari had not made the Chunnin rank yet. Temari had watched her youngest brother fall asleep the demon dwelling inside him had emerged. Like in Temari's memories the thing made fear swirl to the point of nearly making her nauseated. Temari survived, she had the responsibility to take care of her siblings. She had every intention of caring for Gaara. The three of them went back to Suna, where they found out Oto had betrayed them. Orochimaru had killed the three siblings' father. he Fourth Kazekage. Temari wasn't surprised when she didn't feel anything at the mention of his death.

Soon after the invasion her and her siblings were sent to help the leaf shinobi in their chase of Sasuke. Kankuro went after and helped Kiba, Gaara went to Rock Lee, and Temari went to Shikamaru. The three siblings tried to work on recreating the connections between the two villages. The 15 year old had observed the changes in her littlest brother and she did approve of them, though it was a odd change.

From then on Temari had watched her village crumble. The village had suffered many losses. The number of shinobi that was lost in the invasion was great. Also the villages economic standing was declining. The village of Suna had started to crumble. Temari and her siblings were sent on nearly a constant stream of missions doing al they could to keep Suna stable.

---> Chuunin Years
When Temari was about 16 years old she went back through the chunnin exams and this time she passed. The blond haired girl passed the exam this time [thanks to not being up against a genius], she also had managed to somewhat tone down her overconfidence. Temari soon after that traveled back to her village. She had no need to be a chunnin by title in her village, her and her three siblings had never been given missions according to those rankings. Though that was because of Gaara, after the change in the boy the three siblings were sent on missions, and they were thought of as more human. The three of them where no longer sent on missions that were meant for shinobi much older then them. Baki also became more of team leader for them.

Temari pushed her self harder then ever, and she felt somewhat happy at Gaara's loss of power. Now so much because of his lessened homicidal tendencies, that was nice to, but she got more attention. Temari had a confidence boost due to the fact she was no longer in Gaara's shadow. The girl would proudly wield her fan and she pulled a big sister move on her two brothers as in she became more in charge of the two of them.

Temari used this time also to alter her fan somewhat. She knew what her limitations were when it came to her fan, so she worked with Kankuro to complete the fan’s new design. The girl also went to the medics and had them teach her some medical jutsus. All she really learnt was how to brace bones, and stop internal bleeding among other things. Temari also did her best to help out in the politics of the village considering how downhill the economy of the village was.

When Temari turned about 17 and a half she entered the jounin exams. This being said she was able to pass the exams, with the help of the fan she altered. The girl made jounin, when she did she was appointed the Suna representative in the Chunin exams, she also was one of the people who would travel to Konoha on official business. The girl also was there when her youngest brother became the Kazekage. She watched as Kankuro went through the Jounin exams as well.

At this age she also decided to change her clothing. She traded her short purple skirt and chest armor to something a bit more modest. She now clothes herself in a black yukata a red obi around her waist. She also altered the obi that she used to wear to hold her fan on to an actual holster. Temari also has learnt not to complain too loudly about the three day trek to Konohagakure, she also will be the one who is there at the exams to watch over the shinobi of Suna.

When the Ataksuki invaded Suna she was in Konohagakure on official business. On her way back she was informed by Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi that her brother had been poisoned, and the other one abducted. This worried her but she also ran back to the village, she lead the team through the desert to their village and made it in record time. Temari saw her brother laying on a bed dying, thankfully Sakura healed him. Temari was stuck back in the village, on business and she also cared for Kankuro as he healed.

About three or four tense days later Gaara was returned to them and she was there to protect him from his fangirls. Temari was overjoyed at the thought she had her two brothers back. Now she still goes back and fourth on official business, and she also is a team leader every once in a while when her life isn’t at hectic.

The moon shown through the open window, a cool breeze ruffled the sheets that were draped over a slim feminine body. The body belonged to a blond haired girl who was peacefully sleeping. The girl shivered slightly before rolling over and pulling the covers more tightly around her. Her teal eyes stayed shut until she heard the alarm next to her bed go off. She groggily reached behind her and slammed her fist down onto the clock shutting it up. Temari opened her eyes blinking a few times getting used to the darkness surrounding her. She sighed closing her eyes, but before she could fall back into the beauty of sleep she dragged herself to her out of bed with a soft groan and shiver as her feet hit the cold floor.

The girl walked into the bathroom, not bothering with the lights, and she turned on the shower before she let her sleeping cloths slid from her body. She sighed softly, as she waited for the shower to heat, and looked at her naked body in the mirror. She wouldn’t say she wasn’t endowed, but that wasn’t what she was looking at. Her teal eyes could pick out the many scars that marred her body, she shook her head pulling her gaze from the mirror, she was a ninja. How could she have thought she could have the perfect body. The steam brought her to her senses and she stepped into the shower cleaning herself off quickly. She ran shampoo through her hair cleaning it slightly, she cleaned the rest of her body the slight thought that the blood of those she had killed would never leave her hands drifting through her mind.

The teen shrugged as she pulled the towel more tightly around her body, she walked into her bedroom once again and she put her hair up in the normal four ponytails, she also walked to her drawers and she pulled out her armor and black kimono. She suited up fully before grabbing her fan off the wall mounting it was on and sliding it into the holster on her back.

The guards gave her strange looks when she walked by them, it was about two in the morning, the air it’s self felt like ice every time she breathed in. The guards weren’t about to question her, but the truth was she never thought she was good enough. Practice during the day was nearly impossible with her destructive power. She had taken to going into the desert at night and building up her stamina and control. She pulled her kimono more tightly around her as she walked into the desert. Once she deemed herself far enough away from the village she sighed pulling the fan off her back and opening it in the process, this was going to be a long night.

“Kamaitachi no Jutsu!”

She yelled out swinging her fan as a cold sweat slid down her face. She was panting as she watched the last of the destructive wind wither away, it had been hours since she left the warmth of her bed. She could feel her muscles complaining. Sure, she was a ninja, but fights rarely lasted this long and she rarely was the only one fighting. Especially today’s opponent, her limits and herself. She straightened up before leaping back into the air,

“Daikamaitachi no Jut-”

The girl let out a ragged gasp as she let her weapon fall to the ground as a pain tore through her shoulder. Temari landed, not to gracefully, and she grasped her shoulder. Her teal eyes were squeezed shut as she stayed frozen, war fan on the ground as pain pulsed through her. She had pushed herself two hard, her left shoulder had taken too much strain at once and she had yanked it out of its socket thus pulling the muscles. She held her forearm between her legs before yanking up and yelping out as it popped back into place. She supposed this was a sign to stop. Tired and dirty she made her way back into the village. She wanted nothing more but a good warm bed and long sleep, but she knew the coming day was filled with paper work and meetings. Temari sighed; no body said this life would be easy.
